So, you are an aircraft detailing management company – what does that really mean?

It means that we work on behalf of our customers to manage the entire aircraft cleaning process, so they don’t have to. Flying to different airports around the country means having to deal with different vendors and different vendors means different experiences and expectations. And how do you know that the last-minute cleaning with the guy that says can clean your plane is actually going to be done in a way that doesn’t harm your aircraft? Day to day cleanings for various vendors can be transactional – meaning you may never seem them again so their expectations can be low. Our mission is all about relationships. We have formed long lasting relationships with quality vendors who have mutual respect for our roles in this process. We then build relationships with our customers and work to deliver them a quality and consistent experience every time. With us, you can travel anywhere and continue to work with our team every time.  

Are Global Appearance Partners employees actually cleaning my airplane?

No. We partner with a network of approved vendors that we have vetted to ensure perform quality work on your aircraft based on a variety of criteria from insurance and training to materials used and safety practices. We do the work to ensure that only the best are taking care of your aircraft. 

 

Do you only work with large aircraft detailers or do you work with small detailing companies as well?

We do our best to only work with the best detailers – the size of their operation is mostly irrelevant. We are looking for detailers who have high standards for the work they are doing and whose focus and expertise is on aviation and not other forms of transportation. 

 

Can you give me a summary of the services you are able to arrange?

Here are just some of the services we offer: complete interior detailing, complete exterior detailing, interior wipe down, cockpit cleaning, carpet extraction, stain removal, leather cleaning and conditioning, upholstery cleaning and conditioning, instrument panel cleaning, wash and wax service, exterior wipe down service, paint protection sealant application, paint restoration, dry wash services, bright work polishing, de-ice boot prep or refurbishing, sealant treatment, ceramic coatings. If you are looking for something that isn’t mentioned here, please just ask – we are happy to offer custom solutions to best suit your operation.

 

Do you provide any paint treatments?

While we aren’t able to offer re-paint or touch up paint services, we are able to offer paint restoration and protection services. If you have paint that is dull or discolored, we can help clean and polish the paint to get it looking its best. We typically recommend sealing the paint afterwards to help maintain it longer.

 

Do you provide overspray removal services?

In most cases yes, we are able to help remove overspray. However, these are case by case scenarios and estimates. Please contact us directly and we will work on providing you a custom solution. 

 

Is there an aircraft that is too small or too big for you to arrange a cleaning for?

No. Whether you have 1 or 100 business jets that need regular service – we’ve got you covered. What’s that? You have a fleet of 737’s with corporate configurations that need cleaned after every flight – yeah, we can do that too. Big or small, one plane or an entire fleet, we are happy to provide service to all.

 

How often should my aircraft be cleaned?

Aircraft cleaning intervals vary based on they type of aircraft, how it is being operated, and the standard of expectations the owner/operator has in maintaining the appearance of their aircraft. If you would like specific recommendations, please contact us and we’ll help you put together a plan.

 

Do you offer a cleaning program to keep my aircraft on a regular schedule?

We absolutely do. We will work with you to review your fleet, the level of activity they are flying, and the goals you have to keep them clean. We take that information and work with you on developing a custom plan that is designed around your needs.

 

I just need a one-time cleaning and don’t want a recurring cleaning. Can I still use your service?

There are no minimum requirements to use our system. Feel free to use us once a year or every day. You’ll get the same service and attention no matter how you use our service.

 

How much notice is needed for cleaning services?

The more notice the better, however we understand that last minute cleanings happen all the time. We can do some work in as little as a few hours’ notice. Other larger projects take some time to plan and require coordination. We completely understand that aviation is a business where last minute changes and needs are part of a normal day. As such, we work 24/7 to try to provide you the service you need in the time frame you request. 

 

How do I know the products that are being used to clean my airplane are safe for both the aircraft and the people on board?

We work with our vendors to ensure that they are only using safe, aviation approved materials that will not harm your aircraft in the cleaning process. 

 

I tried cleaning my airplane myself and I think it made it worse – can you help?

Yes! Let us know what the issue is, what you did and we’ll help you to correct it.

 

Do you offer refurbishment services?

While we are not in the business of repairing leather, or re-painting aircraft, if that is something you are looking for, we are happy to offer some referrals. Our focus from a refurbishment standpoint is deep cleaning and conditioning leather as well as paint polishing. Both are geared toward extending the life of a surface/material.

 

What is your service area?

We currently service the United States and parts of Canada. We are considering future global expansion in the near future.

 

Do you provide on-site cleaning to all airports nationwide?

We service over 350+ airports nationwide. This includes all major metropolitan airports and the majority of airports that are utilized by private aviation on a daily basis.

I have a cleaning company and would love to become part of your network. How do I do that?

We would love to hear from you. Send us a note at schedule@global-appearance.com with who you are and what you are looking for and someone will reach out, usually within 24 hours.

 

How will I be billed?

Fleet customers who have prearranged billing practices will follow those guidelines. For anyone who is not a part of a formal program, all transactions will be billed to a credit card.
